Access to the Site

BRING ID: We don't issue physical tickets and you don't need to print out any Emails, your completed ticket purchase will be on our system under your House of Honey profile. Just show your ID at reception so we know it's really you.

Car Parks are free
Tent Pitches are free
Campervans & RVs need a pass

NO DOGS - NO EXCEPTIONS
We cannot accommodate your pets. Your darling pooch, however lovely, is a health hazard in a festival environment. If you turn up with one or you smuggle one in, you will be asked to leave (and you won't be entitled to a refund)

What if you're late?
If some disaster makes you a bit late we will still be able to let you through the gate but it'll be a hassle. Security will check online that you have a ticket and issue a wristband. You'll then need to park just inside the gate and camp there for the night.

NO RE-ADMISSION except in an emergency

Selling essentials and basics

Cars & Campers

Never drive at more than 5mph
The Car Park is just by the gate to the main camping field. Either request a timed pass to allow you to drive onto site and drop off your stuff or just park up and walk your gear to your campsite - everything is within 5 minutes walk Car Parking is Free

Camper Vans
Live-in vehicles with a Camper Van Pass may park in the Main Camping field and may camp alongside mates in tents (power hook-up? only available in Large RV area).

Large RVs
If your camper is really big please park in marked RV area (strait up the drive towards the house) where you will have access to extra facilities and power hook-up.

Electric Power

WE DO NOT SUPPLY FREE POWER
If you want a Power Hook up you need to buy this in advance from the website (login and click 'Buy Tickets') This entitles you to 1x16a supply. Pick up your token at reception when you arrive. Camp close to one of the distribution points.

Camping

Guests
turn left at reception - park and camp in the main camping area
Crew
can camp anywhere in the main camping area or the crew areas
Silver or Platinum members
camp either in the main camping area or the crew area - but not the CREW ONLY area

Don't camp or park campers in the access lanes or pitch tents too close together in case the emergency services need access.

WARNING!
CAMPING UNDER TREES IS DANGEROUS - DON'T DO IT
Many of the trees are very old and branches often fall off without warning. You could easily be killed if one lands on you. This is impossible for us to monitor so if you still decide to camp under a tree in spite of our advice, leave at least a 3 meter gap from the trunk and understand that it's ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK

CAMP FIRES
DO NOT DAMAGE THE GRASS
Unless we are experiencing drought or high-fire-risk conditions, you may have a fire by your camp but you MUST use a FIRE DISH. Don't leave any trace of ash, or singed grass, or digging

Firewood will be for sale from CONWAY 07766 180318 you'll see him on a quad bike with a trailer full of wood or you may take fallen wood from the woods - but PLEASE don't steal wood from the farm
Leave the park exactly as you find it

Fire Safety

Tent fires are very fast and extremely dangerous

Alert Security
Stay calm
move quickly - get everyone out and clear from the area

Ensure that tents, campers or caravans are kept at least 3 metres apart.
Extinguishers are located by the ambulance, at the traders & caterers stalls and at the Site Office.

Recycling & Rubbish

LEAVE NO TRACE
Don't drop any litter or fag butts or ring-pulls
Place food waste in marked bins
Place glass in glass bins
Place recyclables in marked bins and skips

Treehouse & Trees

We take no responsibility for people climbing in trees or frolicking in the Treehouses.
If you choose to do so it's ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK
Be aware that ancient trees are fragile and could drop a branch at ANY TIME
Be careful not harm the trees in any way (no ropes or hammocks that might injure the bark)

Swimming

IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK
We can't prevent people from having a dip in the lake or the river, however, we don't support swimming or monitor it.

Sauna

Bring a swimming costume
The SPA & Sauna are sited on the banks of the lake
If you've paid for a weekend SPA pass in advance then your name will be on a list at Heatwave Sauna reception. Once you've identified yourself, they'll give you a SPA wristband (you can also buy a weekend or day SPA pass directly from them).

First Aid

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF
You are responsible for your own wellbeing
Watch out for guy ropes & tent pegs - these are always the main problems
The first aid tent is next to the kids area at the entrance to the Main Camping field

Welfare Tent

Located near the Sauna area, with allopathic first aid on one side and homeopathic first aid on the other. The Welfare team are here to help if you're feeling wobbly or vulnerable. A welcoming, calm and comfortable space for when you need someone supportive and kind to talk to - or just to be quiet for a bit.

Security

Simon and his team are there to keep us safe. They are acting on our instructions; please respect their requests or guidance. Please contact security if you have any problems or see anything wrong. Take care of your stuff and make sure you lock valuables safely away.

Drugs & Alcohol

Dignity at all times ;)

This is a LICENSED EVENT representatives from the local authority or police may well be on site. We don't tolerate illegal substances or the consumption of excess alcohol, this includes Balloons which will be confiscated if we see or hear them. Please drink responsibly and don't leave anything toxic lying around.

If you’re looking for an excuse to get so mashed up that you can’t look after yourself Please don’t come to GIVE! It is totally unacceptable behaviour.
If we have to pick up the pieces because you’re having a psychotic episode or you're face down in a Ketamine coma or we have to intervene because you’re crashing through other people’s campsites shrieking like a pig in abattoir, it's REALLY NOT OK. Think how it makes other people feel.
It freaks them out and ruins their experience – it’s also massively time consuming and traumatic for the medics and security - and for us organisers.

If you can’t look after yourself – why should we have to do it for you?

If you blow it, we’re going to be really pissed off - at the very least your account will be suspended so you won’t be able to attend any of our events in the future.

Just keep it classy and TUCK IT IN!

Sound Policy

Be Respectful - Be Tolerant
Campsite noise curfew between 01:00 am & 10:00 am.
No extra sound systems without express permission from the organisers.
NO UNSCHEDULED late night parties in the woods please. These create HUGE knock-on problems for us which are not obvious when you're busy having a laugh.
Be respectful of other guests & sensitive to local residents.
Be tolerant of other people having fun.
No noise on Sunday night.

Lost Property

'LOST PROPERLY' The Lost Property tent is in a new location - see the site plan.
Details will be written in a book with the finder's mobile number.
We're really proud of how much gets handed in and how often we manage to find the owner.
Please don't go scavenging from lost property - however 'lost' something looks the owner will be very happy if we're able to re-unite them with their stuff.
