M40 / A421 / A5 From the South West
This is the fastest, clearest - and prettiest route
Turn off the A40 at 'Silverstone' exit onto A421. Take the A5 from Towchester roundabout. Keep your eyes peeled for the turn to 'Crick' (see below for directions from Crick)
Check to make sure that nothing significant is happening at Silverstone on the day you're driving - if it is, avoid the A5

The M1 - from the south
Exit at Junction 18. Follow the A428 towards Crick, turn left at The Wheatsheaf Pub and head north on the Yelvertoft Rd. At Yelvertoft, turn left onto the Stanford Rd and continue north towards Stanford. Go past the Church in Stanford and over a small bridge until you reach the Stanford Hall main gates. It takes approximately 10 minutes from Junction 18

The M1 - from the North
Exit at Junction 20. Turn towards Lutterworth on A4303. Turn left at roundabout and then first left up a small turning which takes you onto the Swinford rd. Go through Swinford - pass the Stanford Hall caravan park on your left - arrive at the Main Gates after 500m. A14 - also a good option

The cab rank at the station usually has cars during busy times but then it comes like a ghost town and you're best off booking one by phone well in advance - this is especially important getting from Stanford back to Rugby.
